Mass cytometry (CyTOF) reveals novel immune alterations in human diseases

Thibault Andrieu, AniRA-Cytometry facility's manager, co-authored a new publication in scientific reports.

 

In this study, the authors from the Immunology Laboratory, Edouard Herriot Hospital, Lyon, used for the first time CyTOF technology to analyse immune alterations in a cohort of patients with septic shock. As a preliminary proof of concept study, the main objective was to evaluate feasibility and opportunities provided by mass cytometry in this clinical context.
