Quality management
Description
SFR Biosciences has initiated a quality approach, to improve the services provided to the users. Quality ambassadors are present in all facilities to facilitate the dissemination of good practices. The objectives of the quality project are:
- 1. continuous improvement and the adoption of a quality management system
- 2. the excellence of SFR Biosciences' technical platforms and user satisfaction
- 3. the attractiveness of SFR Biosciences' technical platforms
- 4. the national and international profile of the technical platforms of SFR Biosciences
- 5. the acceleration of a sustainable research practice
Quality certification is supported and directed by the management team of the SFR Biosciences, which is committed to the success of this approach. It is led and coordinated by a quality certification manager.
Recent activities
In June 2025, the SFR Biosciences' quality management system was successfully renewed as compliant with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 by LRQA Certification.
SFR Biosciences' quality management system continues to comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, for the following areas of activity:
"Provision of cell sorting, provision of analysers and user training on analysers and software, collaboration on cytometry research projects; provision of genetic characterization of transgenic murine lines by DNA amplification (PCR) and validation of new PCR protocols; provision of services in protein bioengineering and proteomics, provision of equipment with user training on equipment and software, collaboration on proteomics research projects; provision of breeding of transgenic murine lines and entry of new lines into the breeding area; provision of immune and metabolic phenotyping, user training on phenotyping software and equipment and their provision, collaboration on research projects involving immune phenotyping; provision of imaging services, user training on microscopy software and equipment and their provision, collaboration on imaging research projects."
These activities are part of the cytometry technical platform (AniRA-Cytometry), the proteomics and protein bioengineering technical platform (Protein Science Facility - PSF), the genotyping service of the Genetic and Cellular Analysis technical platform (AniRA-AGC), the breeding service of the Mouse Experimental Biology Technical Platform (AniRA-PBES), the Imaging and Microscopy Technical Platform (PLATIM), as well as the immune phenotyping service and the metabolic phenotyping service of the Immune and Bone System technical platform (AniRA-ImmOs).
