The 2025 Fête de la Science
The ENS Lyon welcomed schoolchildren and visitors of all ages for workshops on the theme of Microscopy and Imaging. The LyMIC-PLATIM team led workshops on white light microscopy (with J. Brocard) and an introduction to the use of pressure probes (with S. Bovio).
The IBCP/MMSB/LBTI units and the Protein Science Facility (PSF) welcomed 120 students in their junior and senior years from four high schools in the Rhône region for workshops on the theme of “Understanding and caring for living organisms.” During the workshop led by PSF, students were able to crystallize proteins and then observe the crystals and their 3D structures.
As every year, students and teachers were enthusiastic and have already booked their slots for next year to discover life and earth sciences in a “different” way.
