A new protocol for efficient mouse genome editing
No more molecular cloning and microinjection : the PBES, associated with several research groups, optimized genome editing to provide an efficient and simpler service offer to the scientific community.
Suzy Markossian coordinated the project, which associated researchers from Lyon and Grenoble, and the PBES transgenesis team led by Marie Teixeira. The new protocol is published in Scientific Reports : “Electroporation of mice zygotes with dual guide RNA/Cas9 complexes for simple and efficient cloning-free genome editing”.
The PBES developed around twenty new murine models with targeted genetic modifications using CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing technology.
