MiniSPEC
The analyzer Minispec LF90II is located in the AniPHY core facility AniPHY de la SFR Santé.
This low-field NMR body composition analyzer is a non-invasive, non-destructive and stress-free tool to measure in mice and rates (up to 700-800g):
- Fat tissue,
- Lean tissue
- Biological fluid
The Minispec LF90II does not require mice to be anesthetized.
The NMR system presents a magnetic field strength of minimum 0.15 T corresponding to a minimum proton frequency of 6.2 MHz for optimal sensitivity. Measurements are accurate up to the tenth of gram.
