LYMIC - PLATIM

PReSENTATION

The Imaging/Microcopy Facility (PLATIM) offers a wide range of light microscopes ranging from conventional microscopy with fully automated video microscopy, to confocal,  lightsheet and super-resolution microscopy (SIM and SMLM approaches). Since 2018, PLATIM also offers a biophysic platform including 2 atomic force microscopes (AFM) and a Triboindenter, to carry out high-resolution 3D topography measurements and/or to measure mechanical properties (e.g. Young's modulus) on single cells or living tissues. The platform also houses a benchtop scanning electron microscope (SEM) equipped with a cold block. PLATIM is part of the LYMIC regional facility   which has obtained the IBiSA accreditation and is part of France Bioimaging consortia.
