AniRA Mouse models
PRESENTATION
The Mouse Models department is dedicated to the generation and production of genetically modified mice, as well as the development and use of infectious animal models. This department offers a wide range of services and continuously develops new tools for the generation and validation of experimental models.
AniRA Mouse Models operates a central animal facility (AniRA-PBES) that includes a high-performance transgenesis service. This service makes use of lentiviral vectors developed in collaboration with the Genetic Analysis platform (AniRA-Analyse Génétique) and the Vectorology platform (AniRA-Vectorology).
The AniRA-PBES animal facility includes A1, A2, and A3 biosafety areas, enabling the use of infectious models. In addition, the department operates a BSL3 laboratory (AniRA-BSL3), providing the scientific community with access to relevant infectious animal models.

PROGRAM R&D "ANIRA "
Since 2014, SFR Biosciences has organized an annual call for proposals to support collaborative projects focused on methodological or technological innovation. Projects are evaluated by a scientific committee composed of four researchers and four platform staff members.
Evaluation criteria include:
-
Scientific quality and innovative character,
-
Interest for the scientific community,
-
Potential for developing new services within the SFR Biosciences platforms.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT
To better meet users’ needs and ensure both transparency and reliability of research outcomes, the management of SFR Biosciences initiated an ISO 9001 quality process and created a dedicated Quality Management Unit.
This unit actively coordinates the operational implementation of quality projects across the technical platforms of SFR, including AniRA, which has been IBiSA-labeled.
