HELIOS: Mass Cytometer
The AniRA-Cytométrie core facility of the SFR Biosciences has a HELIOS mass cytometer. This equipment for cellular analysis allows us to perform simultaneous measurements of more than 40 parameters simultanously.
The HELIOS is located in the AniRA-Cytometry core facility of the SFR Biosciences, in the Tour CERVI.
Its principle lies on the replacement of traditional fluorescent probes with metal probes. Cells are analyzed by combining multiple parameters:

Approximately 40 probes are available for antibodies and special markers.
Users may benefit from a special offer for the products required for the development and implementation of mass cytometry projects (Antibodies & Maxpar Kits for conjugation of antibodies) negotiated by the Cytometry core facility and SFR Biosciences.
To provide this service as widely as possible, the HELIOS equipment in LYON is also available to research teams that are not members of the SFR Biosciences.
