ImageStreamX
ImageStreamX is an analyzer that combines flow cytometry and microscopy. This flow cytometer combines the quantitative power of a traditional flow cytometer and the accuracy of a microscope.
The ImageStreamX MarkII (Amnis - Millipore) was funded through the Equipex Phenocan. (Equipment of Excellence, an equipment project funded by the French Ministry of Research as part of the operation “Investments for the Future”). It is located in the AniRA-Cytométrie core facility of the SFR Biosciences, in the Tour Inserm CERVI.
ImageStreamX is useful in many applications thanks to its ability to acquire images rapidly and to combine cytometry and microscopy:
- Morphology analysis
- Internalization,
- Cellular signalization and molecular translocation,
- Co-localization, cellular interactions, cell cycle, apoptosis,
- Spot counting,
- Autophagy and cell death,
- Many new applications.
