The ARTHRO-TOOLS facility is an infrastructure for breeding and experimentation on Drosophila.
Activities
The platform offers the following services:
- Production of Drosophila breeding media
- Breeding and experimentation on Drosophila
- Drosophila embryo injection for genomic engineering
- Promoting scientific and technical exchanges between research teams using the drosophila model within the Lyon Gerland campus.

Equipment for Drosophila food tube preparation
- Incubators
- Stereomicroscopes and anesthesia systems
- Stereomicroscope with camera
- Microinjection station: microscope + micromanipulator + FemtoJet
