Procedure for accessing the facility:

Please send a written enquiry explaining the scientific project associated L3 experimnetation. Please include details about the type of experimentation and the special safety measures associated with your experimentation (type of samples coming out of L3, pathogen, strain reference, etc.). Please specify the dates of your thesis (start-end) if you are a doctoral student. Your project will be submitted to the scientific committee of the L3_UMS3444 platform .

Once the project is accepted you will need to,

• fill an administrative form (laboratory name, supervisor, emergency phone number, etc.)
• provide a certificate for medical ability to work in L3.

We will then provide the protocol and operating procedures for the L3 . These documents will need to be signed as an agreement to to respect the procedures.

You will have to take a multiple choice question test to assess your good laboratory practices.

Training to the use of the L3 is performed by one of its managers, then subsequent training by your supervisor until you become independent.

Upon Practical end-of-training assessment, your personal badge will be activated allowing independent entry into the L3

We will be very vigilant in ensuring compliance with safety rules and good laboratory practices. Failure to comply with these rules will result in the deactivation of your badge.
